York Wheels is a voluntary organisation providing
a transport service for those, who by reason of age, disability
or need find that they cannot access public transport. York
Wheels offers a friendly door to door service. Drivers will
always help to make sure that customers get home safely.
The
service is available on a pre-booked basis. The operating
times are normally between 8am and 5pm each day. At weekends,
the number of drivers available is limited. So early booking
is recommended.
