York Wheels have a customer-oriented service which aims to put the
customer first by

  • Providing the highest standard of service possible within the resources available.

  • Providing services that are appropriate and responsive to customers' needs at the local level.

  • Ensuring that there are sufficient staff and volunteers to provide an efficient and effective customer service.

  • Setting, monitoring and reviewing service standards in consultation with customers.

  • Publishing details of the service standards and making these available to customers.

  • Having a formal and confidential system for seeking and monitoring customers' views of services, such as satisfaction surveys and customer comment cards.

  • Providing services that are accountable to customers and take their views into account in reviewing and developing services.

  • Reporting customers' views to Trustees

  • Ensuring that matters personal to customers are never discussed as discretion and loyalty contribute greatly to the happy working relationships between staff, volunteers and customers.
